Did you compile, package and install rtai? Regardless of the exact means you
used to build the kernel and rtai, you should end up with three packages.

1> Image package, i.e. linux-image-<version>.deb
2> Header package, i.e. linus-headers-<version>.deb
3> Rtai package, i.e. rtai-modules-<version>.deb

It sounds like you are missing the 3rd one. 

Alternately, do you have a folder named of the form /usr/realtime-<version>.
Does rtai_math.ko exist in /user/realtime-<version>/modules? If so, you
might only be missing a symlink.

i have compliled everything my self from source, kernel and realtime
linux-2.6.24
rtai-3.6.1

taking defualt config for kernel and coustominzing it up for rt etc (also i
did apply the patch before making etc) mybe im missing something in the
selection tree of kernel or rt?
