General questions are the hardest to answer. They are even harder to answer 
when your not 
asking about the subject of the mailing list. 

Best plasma torch or best price... pick any one. 
I use a Hypertherm 1250 and it was the best one for me. 
You have to figure out the best one for you. 

MUCH more info is on the cnczone in the plasma cutting forum than the EMC 
mailing list.
Do a search for Jim Colt and read all of his replies. You will get a wealth of 
information on 
plasma cutters from reading his posts.

The width of cut depends on the nozzle, amps, material type, material thickness 
for the 
most part. 

Why do you want to know how narrow a cut can be done? Too close of a detail and 
the 
parts between cuts simply melt out from the heat unless your cutting under 
water...
