Okay, it was not me, and I have reproduction steps to prove it:

1. Create ~/test.org with the following content:

# -*- org-use-speed-commands: t -*-

#+STARTUP: overview

* A
** 1
** 2
** 3
* A
** 1
** 2
** 3
* A
** 1
** 2
** 3
* A
** 1
** 2
** 3
* A
** 1
** 2
** 3

2. Execute emacs -Q
3. Type C-x C-f ~/test.org RET
4. Type M-x flyspell-mode RET
5. Place the cursor on the first heading star
6. Record macro by typing C-x ( R n C-x )
7. Execute macro 4 times by typing C-x e e e e

Expected results:

The macro raises all headings one level up.

Actual results:

Org starts adding effort properties to headings.
