I use one big file for continuous notetaking, with periodical archiving,
usually per month. Every note is marked with a timestamp. I rename
archive files according to my personal scheme.
And I use one big file for every project/task in the same way.
So, the result are monthly archives I collect in one directory, so as to
make them searchable. This has proved useful for several years.
