I did see the original posts on this, and was interested in what you were doing, but its a bit beyond me at the moment while I am still trying to grasp how Emacs/org works. At the moment, as you surmised I am just looking to add a bit of structure to the notes I make while working on an analysis. But I may well come back to what you are doing, as I become more comfortable with Emacs.
