Hi Knut,

I've left my K3 on now for about 30 minutes.  The VFO still hasn't frozen
up.  Only thing different is that the laptop isn't connected and therefore,
HRD isn't running.

I'll leave it on for another hour or so and see if anything changes.

Just for the record, I am running HRD (via LP-Bridge) and have never
experienced a problem like this. I use a USB dongle for the connection to
the K3 as my computer has no serial ports.
