Hi,
I ask myself why it is so complicated to add a konstant to the S-meter
output in software, depending on PRE/ATT switch position. Like I have to
do in my head for years now.
Even if this methode might be rough, it is better than nothing.

Yes, please! I very much want the absolute (i.e. compensates for
attenuation) S-meter mode.
I'm confused about why it wasn't implemented to start with, and it would be
really nice to get it sorted out.
