Personally, I'd be VERY happy if DATA A mode had a lower frequency high pass cut off down around 100 Hz or so, as in SSB mode. That would allow for effectively using DATA A mode for all the various WSJT-X modes currently available.
As it is, the ~400 Hz cutoff kills signals below that frequency. You can work around that in various ways or use USB mode. If you choose the latter approach, which works perfectly, the problem then is that it's a PITA switching between SSB operation and Data operation. I've put my microphone bearing headset in a box stored away and don't bother with SSB - just digital and CW. Of course, if CESSB is added to the KX3 I'd have to rethink that some. 73, Clarke K1JX ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [email protected]
