Easy answer -- under North American Electrical Codes (NEC most places,
local Codes very similar to NEC in cities like Chicago, Pittsburgh, and
Los Angeles), it is illegal to run anything that's not power in the same
conduit with power wiring. These Codes carry the force of Law, and they
are well-thought out developed by very competent Electrical engineers.
If you want to run the coax in conduit, it must be in conduit with other
low-voltage wiring.
