Do you mean metal conduit vs metal coax?? I don't know what you could mean
by "metal coax". There is no technical problem running through conduit
(although I don't know if there is a building code restriction).

I used to have a problem where keying my transmitter on 20m rang the front
doorbell. I don't know what issue you are having, but I'm imagining the
garbage disposal spurting whenever you transmit 😁.
