Good Evening,
I had a foggy week. Occasionally the clouds dropped below me for
some sun, or a view of the stars. Lots of rumbling before 3 PM, loggers
are moving heavy equipment. Soggy weather lets them work longer hours
with little need for fire watch.
The sun has been tossing CMEs near the earth all week. Tomorrow we
are due for more misses. They are strong enough to affect propagation,
expect noise and a variety of other effects. The sunspot number has been
dropping as few new groups are replacing those facing us. Sunspot 2934
just came into view. It is active so the game is afoot.
Please join us on (or near):
14050 kHz at 2300z Sunday (3 PM PST Sunday)
7047 kHz at 0030z Monday (4:30 PM PST Sunday)
73,
Kevin. KD5ONS
