No, the mic cables I got plug in the back of the k3/100 and the k3/0. I discovered the problem *may* be that I was using the XMIT button on the k3/0. It seemed to work using the ptt on the mic. I always use the XMIT to key the radio. Using XMIT button did key the radio but there was no audio. I have the k3/100 and k3/0 sitting next to each other so I can see everything that happens. But I was called away by xyl to do something out of house with her just then and could not test thoroughly.
Also when I key the mic ptt switch the 0 goes into cw for a few seconds but the 100 stays on sb. But this does not seem to cause any real problem. Thanks.
