I would echo what Don has to say plus if you are having to get down to  
serious signal tracing it may be better to get down to the basic K2, remove the 
 
KSB2 and fit C167 (0.001uf) on tails to J11 pins 7 to 12, shorting links on  
J9/J10 pins 1 to 3. The KSB2 RFC1/2 can stop things working if they short to 
the  
xtal cans.
