Assistant Professor of Marine Biology, Department of Biology

Virginia Wesleyan University invites applicants for an Assistant Professor
of Marine Biology, with a specialization in invertebrate zoology, to begin
in August 2025. We seek a candidate that specializes in research in the
local area, but is also interested in teaching travel research courses.
Candidates will have an earned Doctorate degree. College-level teaching
experience and excellent teaching skills fostering student learning from
diverse backgrounds is preferred but not necessary. The successful
candidate will teach 7 course components, i.e. each lab and lecture, over
the academic year.
