The spring term deadline is approaching – don’t miss the opportunity to
incorporate a Wikipedia assignment
<http://wikiedu.org/teach-with-wikipedia/> and empower your students to
make a difference with their coursework!

What’s it like for faculty? Professor David-James Gonzales shares
<https://wikiedu.org/blog/2024/11/18/helping-students-become-informed-knowledge-producers-with-the-wikipedia-assignment/>
how the Wikipedia assignment has become a staple in his courses since 2018.
He underscores the robust learning outcomes, increased student motivation,
and incredible impact of the assignment – his students’ work has been
viewed more than 13 million times!

What support do faculty receive for the assignment? Wiki Education provides
faculty participants and students with free, wraparound support, including
customized plans to fold into their syllabi, comprehensive training
modules, digital tools, and guidance from our staff.

Apply by December 1 for priority consideration.

To apply, visit the dashboard <http://dashboard.wikiedu.org/> to create
your Wikipedia account, take the self-paced orientation and create your
course page (you can always make changes later). Course pages submitted
after Dec. 1 will be accepted as space permits.

Questions? We’d love to hear from you.

Best,

Helaine Blumenthal, PhD
