*Spring Track A class starts January 13, 2025!*
Dear Colleagues, I'm contacting you to tell you about our *online*, *non-credit*, *asynchronous *professional development course at Michigan Technological University: *Python for Modern Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing. *This course is offered by MTU's College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science. After an encouraging enrollment in Spring, Summer, and Fall Tracks A and B 2024, we are pleased to announce that the popular class will be offered again in *Spring Track A <https://secure.touchnet.net/C21042_ustores/web/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTID=1741> 2025.* The class starts in January, if you or anyone else you know is interested and can benefit from this class please share. The 7-week, asynchronous online course will introduce students to the beginning and immediate-level applications of Python for both understanding and writing simple scripts, automating workflows, and solving day-to-day, real-world geoprocessing tasks in the ArcGIS ecosystem and open-source platform.
