Alt+~ displays a white screen in the thumbnail instead of the actual
application

Bug description:
When i have chrome, terminal and other apps running and i press Alt +
~ i don't see the thumbnail display for any of the applications. On
selecting a particular application too does not show the application.
Maximizing the application gets me back to the normalcy. Please find
the screenshot attached
