Title: latest unity updates to ubuntu Qunatal render unity desktop unusable(no icons/bar) Status in Unity: Fix Released Status in “unity” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: I have just upgraded a HP655 laptop system with a Ubuntu Quantal 64bit installation. This renders the system unusable -> no apport bugreporting possible, so I come here arround (using a different computer). The login screen is still there. I could login, but right after this the unity desktop keeps blank(without dash or any menu entries). Only the background picture is visible. This comes with the updates from today. The updates from yesterday worked proper. So you have a hint where the regression is. greetings melchiaros To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/1037261/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages Post to : dx-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~dx-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
