Hi Hilton,
Unfortunately this is not a consistent problem. I have just checked my Windows
and Solaris installations on Tomcat 6.0 and neither are distributed with a
/admin webapp. By documenting a problem that is not really a DSpace issue,
will only occur with certain Tomcat distributions, and in fact may change with
future Tomcat distributions, its likely that we will mislead people as much as
help them. Hopefully anyone encountering this problem will also look to Jira
for help and find this conversation. Its good that you highlighted it.
