Not related to the crashes, but:1) Are you using NFS with multiple servers? If so, why not also the new mail_nfs_storage and mail_nfs_index settings?
2) Why dotlock_use_excl=no? Unless you're using NFSv2 it should work as "yes".
3) Why not copying with hardlinks?
