Hi all
I am running Thunderbird 128.4.1 esr (supplied by Mint) on Mint 22. I
have two email accounts setup in Thunderbird, one gmail which I have had
setup in Thunderbird for many years and one account for one of my own
domains. The issue is affecting both email accounts. Both accounts email
is filtered into individual folders under the mailbox
I have Thunderbird setup with Mailboxes on the left, emails listed on
the top right and mail preview below. Prior to some point earlier this
week, If I got an email it will flag up on the corresponding mail folder
on the left, it will show on the email list on the right, and If I move
the cursor over the email and click it would appear with the header in
the preview pane below.
Now only the heabders appear and I am having to double click for the
email to open in a new tab or separate window to display the email and
even then not all emails will display the message. This is happening on
both email accounts and I can not see any pattern to those email that
display the message and those that do not display the message.
Emails can be read without issue through the web browser for each of my
email accounts.
One other thing that I have only just noticed while writing this email,
I get a message saying it can not save the email, I have tried to save
manually and that fails as well. I have also now found out I can not
send emails from Thunderbird, now sending via Roundcube web interface
I am beginning to think that possibly the .thunderbird or one of it sub
files is corrupt and causing the issue.
Has anybody had this issue before
