It seems like a lot of people are having problems running Appimage programs . I am on Kubuntu 24.04 and have resolved things until Ubuntu sorts out the problem.
I had Fuse 3 installed and installed Fuse2 as per some advice. My problem was that some Appimages worked and others didn't. Initially the ones that worked OK were: Cura 5.8.1 LibreCAD -- -- never used, don't know why I have it. Inkscape 1.1 -- -- same as previous and Nextcloud 3.14 NOT working Openshot -- -- upgraded to v 3.2.1 and it now works. Jitsimeet Balena-Etcher 1.19.25 and -- -- run from terminal with --no-sandbox and it works ArduinoIDE 2.3.3 -- -- run from terminal with --no-sandbox and it works I don't know whether this will help anyone, but thought I would put it out.
