Following on from John D's root partition move, I am looking at updating the Bios on my Laptop and one comment from one of the replies got me thinking about what I am planning in the next few weeks.

I intend to remove the current (Linux) SSD, replace with another SSD, install win10 update Bios, ensure it boots, remove (Windows) SSD, refit Linux SSD. Now this is where I came to a stop, is there likely to be an issue here with changes in Bios not been recognised by the Linux SSD. While I know there is an update, I have not been able to find what the changes are (going from version 272 to 277).

Is there anything I should know about booting up with the Linux SSD after the Biso upgrade??

For the record the Laptop is an Lenovo T530 (2017 vintage), Mint 22 OS.
