Just questions to start with.

- Presumably the method of copying was some GUI drag and drop?
- Do you recall why it said one or two files couldn't be copied?  Even
  if they're not important, it still seems odd.
- You copied /home/terry from the old disk into /home/terry on a live,
  running, system whilst logged in as terry?
- You still have the old disk unaltered so in theory the wallet is safe
  and booting from that disk would regain access?
