Greetings again. Based on the concerns expressed here about the difficulty to implement parsing of the new RRTYPE, I have turned in a modified application that changes it to using the same definition as a TXT record, with an explanation of what receivers should expect for the resulting string. I'll report back to this list after I hear back from the RRTYPE expert reviewer and IANA about the modified application.
