yes.

thanks to steve's <http://www.enemieslist.com/> by which i "whiteout"
the PTR's manufactured by last mile providers, and behave exactly as i
would if these PTR's were not present -- it's working pretty well. seems
like a lot of extra complexity though.

i think we're on the same page, actually. where we're still far apart is
in our understandings of how things work today, in other words, what
status quo are we living with; and also, whether and in what direction
we can change it.
