It's possible you're making assumptions about VeriSign's fiscal year-end. I've 
always understood "Q1" to mean "within the first quarter of the fiscal year" 
which will only map to January-March for companies whose year end is 31 
December. Perhaps VeriSign meant something different, however.

The lack of clear answers to such questions to me is an indication that care is 
needed.
