Dear All,
Updating ASCII on HP Probook 4540s resulted in the logout dialog box
in XFCE 4.12.3-4 presenting 'restart', 'shut down', 'hibernate' and
'suspend' buttons disabled. I can only log off to slim.
Running "/usr/bin/xfce4-session-logout" as an unpriveleged user from
terminal did NOT display any errors but with exactly the same results.
Running the same command, "/usr/bin/xfce4-session-logout" as root,
resulted in a dialog box displaying the error:
Error Message: << Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include:
the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security
policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network
connection was broken. >>
