I personally would use a librecmc router. One of the supported ones I
mean... They require zero blobs and they use zero blobs and moreover,
although they are old, they are secure and librecmc is based off of
LEDE. They even released librecmc 1.41a which resists krack and has
other security fixes based on LEDE ver 17.01 or something....

B*ut, if you do this, make sure you do NOT use a core image or you will
be left without a GUI! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!

*and also, ignore those who say using stock firmware is okay. This
couldn't be further from the truth!

especially with the national spying agency trying to make things so easy
that anyone and their grandma can hack into anything. and before you say
anything remember, *this is an analogy... for how bad things are...

*do some research on librecmc and lede if needed... I currently am using
one.
