Peter: Thanks for the reply.

I do have DEBUG=True.
I have tried both 1/0 and assert false; but both times I don't get the
debug information rather just 'Processing ....' from jquery and it is
just blank.

This happens in both firefox and IE.

I'm puzzled on this. Let me see if I can debug jQuery and come back.
In the mean time, if you have any other suggestion, feel free to let
me know.
