People have done this before, and the backlash it generates is larger each time. Made worse by the fact that some of those surveys have been very poorly designed. And even if we were to do something like this, we'd have the problem of self-selection to deal with. Which we already have for committers, but my gut tells me it'd be worse for contributors. I think there might be better ways to understand the funnel, using Kibble. Best, Myrle
