But to assume or imply that everyone who uses education to advance freedom is an opportunist (without evidence) is basically to confuse freedom with ignorance. A person can be free in their ignorance, but they are usually MORE free when they know more about freedom. Or perhaps this was obvious, and you weren't being sarcastic.
