Hi there, OVS 2.4 is not compatible with DPDK 2.1 (or above). Looking at the DPDK 2.1 implementation you will discover the reason.

Also, not only OVS 2.5 has a lot of improvements but also DPDK 2.2 and 2.1 over the version 2.0 specially about MSI/MSI-X.
