Hi all,

I read the folloing in the FAQ:

"Q: I can't seem to use Open vSwitch in a wireless network.

A: Wireless base stations generally only allow packets with the source
MAC address of NIC that completed the initial handshake.
Therefore, without MAC rewriting, only a single device can
communicate over a single wireless link.

This isn't specific to Open vSwitch, it's enforced by the access
point, so the same problems will show up with the Linux bridge or
any other way to do bridging."

Now, this puzzles me.... does that mean that i couldn't connect 2 handsets or
wireless equipment to an ovswitch with a bridged wlan interface? Isn't there a
way to do that (virtual wlan interface, like wlan0:0, wlan0:1)?

Could i connect 2 handsets to a wifi router and then this single router to a
bridged ovswitch wlan interface to avoid that although the initial intention is
to link more than one wireless equipment to a single wlan interface?

thanks for your help, it's been really helpful up to now.

sam
