I can't point to a rational comparison, but I can offer the following random data-points: - Monday morning this week, I had no real puppet installation - By Friday afternoon, working 1/2-time on it, I was far enough along that -- if I didn't have to contend with a no-change window the entire week due to holidays and vacations, I could probably have brought some basic puppet functionality for a number of our configs/etc., to most of my production environment. So, in terms of "ease of deployment", Puppet earned a big fan in me this week.... Cheers, D
