Have you tried installing the QtWebkit 5.212 packages I provide on openrepos? Webcat has a feature that allows you to create Icons from Webpages by long pressing on the bookmark (star) button in the browser. It will try to use the fav-icon provided by the page itself. However it will act more like a bookmark as it opens the full browser with addressbar and such.
