Does your package include static archives?

Yes. So the capsule summary from there seems to be to add

%undefine _preserve_static_debuginfo
%define _find_debuginfo_opts --no-ar-files

to the spec file. Hopefully, when this is no longer needed someone will send up the bat-signal.
