exactly correct!

On the building guide...one quick comment. For people on various linuxes,
things can be quite complicated. I used the "quick" build guide as a
starting point but even the "needed packages", names, will vary from distro
to distro I am finding, so this is a bit of an issue.
Many issues I had problem with I could only resolve by taking a nice long
look at the configure script itself.

And, to make matters worse, package names will vary in the same distro
depending on the version of the distro. Well at least that seems to the
case for me in opensuse. Maybe others are better.

Once we get past 4.0, I do hope that I can get my "strings" issue resolved
and get back to some actual development.
