Sorry, I should mention that I have no objections if you want to do something else. But IMHO if you do not reset the votes then it will take another decade for a RFE from today to have the same opportunity for votes as an issue from 2002. So going down that path is a exercise in futility as far as I can tell. Better to start from scratch with a well-designed survey.
