It has been almost a week since the last response. 
To me it looks like there's no solution. I've added codehaus-support so Ben 
and/or Bob have a chance to say some wise words.
Another suggestion could be to ask the cobertura-team what they think is 
allowed for the plugin when using the cobertura-dependency.
I still believe it's also for them the best if this is solved, otherwise they 
might loose it from tools like jacoco.
