I think it would be nice to have the OOoCon2010 exactly on the birthday. Is it October 13th? Of course it is very important, that this is no extra work for the organizational team.
for me, it would be okay, because it is likely that I have exams at the beginning of September. However, I also heard people complaining about the October date, so I would like to leave that up completely to the organizers. People voted for the location and an "early September" date, so peoples votes are most important.
