I have just sent an
email to the company, so we can get clarified whether or not they have
any rights to the trademark "OpenOffice". Maybe they only own "Open
Office" (with a space) as a trademark, which would make sense, since
this is what the company is called.
They will also notice the fact that the '.org' is omited often ;-)
However, I doubt if changing oud official name would make a big
difference (in positive direction). It's more the way we and others use
it, that matters. And Christian already wrote some ideas about that.
