Should Art depend on still depend on marketing? I though originally
that art was a sub-project of marketing because of domain, access or

I disagree here, if they are under marketing I feel it's because they
belong to marketing purpose. At least, I think it's true for education
and universities not really sure for the others as this is not my
specialty :).
AFAIK the education project was under marketing because Ian had problems
accessing the CVS. But like many emails on the educ list, they always
complain because the education sectors is so deeply burried in the site.
The aim of educ project here is to gain more schools and universities
use OOo, not to make them contribute and share their tools and knowledge.
I'll propose on saturday an education incubator project where accent
will be placed on sharing : tools, knowledge, participation...
I dont see anywhere on the site explicity mentioning that. And the
universities project is basically a list of univ using it.
Part of my work in France and Africa has been successful, and I really
want to bring it to the overall project.
Placing in at the same level as the [EMAIL PROTECTED] would really confused
people and make them go away, just because the purpose is not the same.
I think having 2 education projects will confuse people also. I will guess
that each project generate their own marketing scheme such as the
native-lang have their own art, marketing, and workteams. This is my
experience from working within the education mailing list.
Understand me right, this is not to underestimate the [EMAIL PROTECTED]
project, the topics of these projects are simply different, and they are
both necessary.
So, as I said, my proposal for this incubator will come on Saturday, I
hope that all the pedagogy experts will join it and that we will achieve
a world share :)
