Please read the MassGov document before lunging into a PR effort in
support of OpenOffice. The context of the report is that the State is
declaring policies to support certain specific XML standards in
DIFFERENT AREAS across its infrastructure, including office documents.
If you can add to the effort it's not in lobbying or "helping" in Mass;
it is in helping get the 50 other states to make a similar declaration.
Novell, IBM, Sun, possibly Microsoft, and others are already talking to
MassGov.
