Hello Erwin, Daniel, *

I will see what I can do, but I personally for sure won't speak

Wouldn't that be missing an important PR opportunity?
Not necessarily, I can still refer to the local OpenOffice.org
project leads here in Germany or get Sun PR involved.
I posted the message on the de-marketing-list, so we start to
discuss the point. I'm quite sure we can spread the information in
Germany, but could you help me by pointing out the most important
points?
In my eyes we (as Europeans) should refer to the EU decisions as
well, we could tell about Microsoft's reaction (and IBM's of course)
and we can point out that it is "our" format they want to use.
I'm not subscribed to PR list, because I don't have the time to read
more than I do in the moment, so I don't know, if someone has
started a press release we could use as basis for our own (besides
of Sam's articles).
Normally I would refer to Florian Effenberger, our
de-marketing-frontman, but as he told you a few days ago he is very
busy this month.
Following the reasons discussed in this thread we'll have our
CoLeads (we don't have a Lead in the de-project) and the
marketing-"Lead" Florian as supervisors before release. Erwin, would
you mind having a look at it too? (You don't have to read the
[EMAIL PROTECTED], I'll send a PM to you)

Best regards
Bernhard
