[~cpoerschke] I pushed the changes to both master and branch_5x. I think we can
now remove support for {{<mergePolicy>}} in master? We also need to modify the
ref guide .. do we do that via JIRA too? Let me know how you want to proceed,
not sure if you've already started to work on any of these.
BTW, I'll delete the remote tracking branch or this feature. We can create a
new one if needed. Have you pushed anything more to it?
