I feel a half broken Solr 5.0 with expectations to fix later leaves a bad
impression. Similar to collection api's missing in Solr 4.4 and added
incrementally through Solr 4.10 leaving different functionality in each release
for things that should have been present in 4.4. Some users of Solr are slow to
upgrade and many have large important things missing because it is hard to find
a 'complete' release. I prefer not to propagate thus behaviour into Solr 5.x.
It is a big reason ElasticSearch gains ground.
