Ok, I have modified script to provide empty message in the POT file. It should work better now than with --placeholder-- tag, especially with machine translation and translation memory software tools that we are using.
New POT files are uploaded. As Joost deleted invalid test for 3.3 POT is without that Russian message Serg was talking about. Thanks for raising this issue.
