Hi Mickael, Thanks again for volunteering for the 4.3 release. I just merged (1) Jonah's implementation for KIP-1219 (2). KAFKA-19541 (3) is marked for a fix in 4.3.0. Users have experienced controller unavailability when deployed on low-bandwidth networks. This KIP and its implementation make the fix configurable.
