Are we sure that all questions will be covered and contained in the documentation ? I think it's pretty hard: some projects tried but it's a huge amount of work and pretty hard to maintain.
Personally, I think that Slack is fine for direct/quick Q&A but not really for collaborative/community help and engagement. That's why I'm proposing the user mailing list. Also remember that all users don't have Slack access (or use). No rush to move forward on that, but using my "user hat", I would love to search the previously asked question and just do "google search" to get similar issue reported by users.
